Eric defines consulting practice values and processes, and works with our clients and our Consulting teams to ensure delivery of high-performance online brand, channel and eCRM strategies.
Previously, Eric was a co-founder of Euro RSCG Circle and its Chief Marketing Officer. While at Circle, Eric led his team's successful, high-profile online marketing strategy and channel development efforts for Intelstat, The Campbell Soup Company, Bell Atlantic/Verizon, WSJ.com, Datek, ING, Liberty Mutual, Cartoon Network, The Hartford and many other Circle clients. Several of these efforts garnered Effie Awards and have been profiled by The New York Times, Jupiter Research, J.D. Power and the Yankee Group, among others.
Eric was formerly a Senior Vice President and Media Director with J. Walter Thompson in New York, where he led innovative, award-winning marketing and media concept development efforts for Citibank, IBM, Showtime, Bell Atlantic, the Miller Brewing Company, Warner-Lambert (Pfizer) and Unilever brands.
Dave and his team are focused on the creation of experiences that generate ever-more brand love and money for BEAM's clients.
Previously, Dave was co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of Euro RSCG Circle. At Circle, he oversaw the creation of much-discussed sites and digital campaigns for the Truth / American Legacy Foundation, IKEA, MINI USA and The Campbell Soup Company. He also led creative efforts for Verizon, Intelsat, AND 1, ING and The Hartford.
Dave has been a featured speaker for Macromedia and at industry events such as the Seybold Seminars and the Davis Symposium. His work, and the work of his teams, has received awards from a wide range of organizations/publications, including the Cannes Lions, Webby Awards, The London International Awards, Andy, the Art Director's Club, the One Show, Communication Arts, Print magazine, I.D. Magazine and the Flash Film Festival. He has also served on the juries of several interactive design and communications competitions including the Art Director's Club and the London International Awards.
With a master's degree in New Media from Emerson College, Birch has a true passion and talent for creating innovative online experiences that leverage user interaction research, but are always intuitive and strive to delight users. As a result, his work has garnered awards from the Webbys and Cannes Lions, to The One Show, Andys, Hatch, London International Advertising Awards and the Flash Film Festival. His efforts have also been recognized by major publications including Communication Arts, I.D. Magazine, Print Magazine, Business 2.0, Newsweek and The New York Times, while Creativity magazine named his concept for MINI's Weekly World News cover one of the top print campaigns of the last 25 years.
As Creative Director at BEAM, Birch leads the development of all work for MINI while also lending his talents and vision to engagements with PUMA and other BEAM clients such as LL Bean, Fidelity, the Gap and Credo Mobile. Previously, Birch served as the creative team lead on much of Euro RSCG Circle's most recognized work, including MINI and thetruth.com. Birch has also led creative initiatives for Verizon, AND 1, and WSJ.com, including being responsible for some of the most effective online advertising Verizon has ever placed.
With 12 years of experience in interactive marketing technology, Jim oversees all aspects of technology at BEAM, serving as a liaison between consulting and creative teams and client technical teams. In this role, he and his team ensure that the implementation process moves smoothly and that the creative vision is executed without compromise—whether development is handled by BEAM or by the client. Jim also manages all application architecture and development across multiple server and client platforms, social media sites, and mobile devices. He has managed projects and led the development for many brands including Bed Bath and Beyond, Waterford (WWRD), Deutsche Bank (DWS), LLBean, and Virgin Mobile.
Jim also plays a strong role in ensuring that measurement and analytics are implemented for all BEAM projects. He and his team ensure that Web analytics using systems such as Omniture, Core Metrics and Web Trends are implemented properly but also focus on collecting deeper marketing analytics that allow measurement of user activities across channels and lines of business. Jim works with our consultants to ensure that the performance of all of our initiatives is measureable and the actionable data is available for analysis.
Previously, Jim was a Technical Lead for Euro RSCG 4D, formerly Euro RSCG Circle. While there, he led the development of a comprehensive marketing infrastructure that integrated 23 different Campbell’s Soup and Pepperidge Farm web properties into a single system that could be leveraged across all brands.
